FaceR8 (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a simple iOS app that lets you scan your face and receive an instant attractiveness score with honest feedback and looksmaxxing tips. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary for the app to function:

• Camera and Photos
  • When you choose to scan, we request access to your camera or photo library only after you explicitly tap “Scan My Face Now”. The photo you take or upload is used solely to generate your scan result.
• Scan History
  • Your photos and scan results (score, breakdown, tips) are saved locally on your device using Apple’s FileManager in the app’s private Documents folder. These files are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.
• Subscription and Purchase Information
  • We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you subscribe or restore purchases, RevenueCat receives:
    • Anonymous app user ID (automatically generated and randomized — not linked to your name, email, or any personal account)
    • Purchase receipts and subscription status from Apple
    • Basic technical information (device type, operating system version, last seen time)

RevenueCat processes this data to validate purchases, manage entitlements, and prevent fraud. We do not send your photos, scan results, or any other personal content to RevenueCat.

• Usage Data
  • We use limited analytics/attribution tools to understand app installs and subscription performance (see “Analytics & Advertising Attribution” below). We do not collect or upload your face photos or scan results.

We do not collect:

• Name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifiers
• Location data
• Contacts or any other device data
• Any account information (no login or user accounts are required)

2. How We Use Your Information

• The photo you provide is used only once to generate your personalized face scan result.
• Your locally saved scan history is used so you can review past scans inside the app.
• Subscription data is sent to RevenueCat solely to process payments, confirm your active subscription, and unlock full app features.

No data is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the core app features.
